A *new* newborn pose for me | Atlanta newborn photography

I decided to try something a bit new with a sweet newborn girl who visited the studio recently. It has generated a lot more activity on my Facebook page than my usual poses, so I decided to share it here as well.

I did have a post questioning the safety of this pose. I quickly reassured the poster and let her know that safety is always my number one concern during newborn (and all) photography sessions. This sweet girl never left the comfort of a beanbag placed on the floor – and certainly didn’t snooze in a swing.  If you are a novice photographer please realize that poses like these can always be done safely with the magic of Photoshop.

I have so many sweet baby girls who have arrived, so I look forward to trying this pose again soon.
