Sorry for the delayed announcement – we’ve had a busy day. The winner of the contest generated by the random number generator is the owner of reply #6….

which is Colleen! Congratulations! Based on our unique visitors to the blog yesterday, your Best Buy giftcard will be in the amount of $60!

We will have another contest very soon so be sure to keep checking in!

And in studio news:

I’m constantly looking for new products that will enhance the beauty of your portraits. Our new albums are just gorgeous and arrive in your choice of Japanese bookbinding fabric and Swiss ribbon binding. The pages are hand-torn deckled edges available in black or natural. A presentation box is available upon request.

See you back here soon!

I promised a blog contest and I’m so excited to announce I finally decided on the contest/prize. I’ll shamelessly admit the contests are a strategic ploy to increase traffic to my blog. So it’s fitting that the prize is commensurate with the amount of traffic.

On any given day my blog receives about 30 unique visitors. This is sadly well below the stats for my main website and I know this number can improve. So…the prize for this contest is a

Best Buy Giftcard

And the amount will be determined by the number of unique visitors to my site tomorrow, July 22. Each visitor adds $1 to the prize, up to  $100! I will publish my statcounter results on Wednesday to show the amount won.

I also need help deciding which background to use in my galleries on my website. To enter the contest, simply add a comment to this post voting for your favorite background for my galleries, 1 or 2. That enters you in the drawing to win. Anyone is eligible so spread the word. Remember, the more visitors to the blog tomorrow the bigger the prize! Winner will be selected by the random number generator posted here based on the number assigned to their comment:  http://www.mathgoodies.com/calculators/random_no_custom.html . One entry per person, please.

Entries can begin right away, so reply to this post with your favorite background and you’re all set to win! Make sure you spread the word to make that prize bigger.

Good luck! I hope we get 31 unique visitors tomorrow….*grin*.

This sweet little man couldn’t be bothered to stay awake for his first photo op – he peacefully slept through most it – which is just how I like it!

Mom looks absolutely beautiful here!

As I recall, when big sister had her newborn session a couple of years ago she stayed awake through most of her session! Do you see a resemblance?

I’ve had the honor of photographing this family for past couple of years – thank you so much for letting me capture your memories!

At twelve months most babies keep me on my toes in the studio. Little Miss J was no exception – full of energy and on the go! Her eyes had me from the moment I saw her – enjoy the sneak peeks of this sweet angel:

***NEW PRODUCT NEWS***

I’m excited to announce that we will now offer custom framing in the studio! So as you place your order you can select frames and mats so that your portraits are ready to hang when you pick them up. Collages and storyboards will be delivered with a frame of your choice beginning in September. Samples will be available for browsing in the studio by next week. I’ll post some sample images here on the blog soon!

We will also have a product that has been requested more than once – beautiful custom coffee table books. I should have a studio sample in the next 6 weeks. If you have an interest in one please let me know. Past sessions can be compiled into one album to tell a complete story of your child’s growth.

See you back here soon!
