A post – post flood. And a beautiful engagement.
October 10, 2009I had every honest intention of getting more current on my blog. This month Mother Nature decided to pull me away. You may have heard that Atlanta was flooded to a great degree, and my home studio was no exception. The good news is that the damage compared to what it could have been was slight. In just two weeks we had the soaked carpet and padding removed, the entire studio moved out, new carpet and pad installed, some fresh paint – and we’re back up and running! This Saturday was the first full session post-flood. It was good to have everything back to normal.
My prayers go out to those families who didn’t fare as well. I know so many had exteme losses to their homes and I hope that things are looking better for you!
As my studio sat drying out and de-humidifying, I went on location to shoot an engagement for a talented photographer friend, Corey Civetta. Corey, you and Frank are a truly beautiful couple, inside and out. Thanks for letting me capture some glimpses of your love before your big day. I look forward to shooting yet another wedding!

I have many sessions to finish editing so this blog WILL see some love soon.
xoxo.
